There’s lot of what Minot’s lost that’s been left to desire, and no there’s no greater example of what once was than the iconic Flat Iron building; Minot’s version had the same triangular shape of its more famous New York namesake and stood on the North side of Central Ave at the intersection with Broadway. Today, it’s a parking lot. What was different between then and now that drove early Minot citizens to build such remarkable buildings?
